Management of state debt and macrofinancial risks in Ukraine’s economy

The article deals with international trends of public debt accumulation in crisis period, factors and implications of significant public debt growth in Ukraine. Debt sustainability analysis is described and necessity to reduce the budget deficit in Ukraine is proven. The problems related to foreign capital inflow to Ukraine are highlighted and macroeconomic policy response (aimed at new crisis prevention) is suggested.
