Risks of external borrowing for post-transformational economies

The article reviews the risks of external borrowing in post-transformational economies. The authors make a detailed theoretical analysis of the risks, associated with external debt. The negative impact of external debt accumulation in strategically important branches of functioning of the economy is analyzed and ways to minimize the risks of debt financing of the economy are suggested.
