Innovatory approaches to the activity management of insurance companies

The article discusses the nature and role of strategic management in the insurance companies. A determination of the nature of the financial strategy and development of its basic directions is suggested. The authors analyze the possibilities for improving the models of assessing the controls of insurance companies and offer the use of model D. Kirpatryk adapted to the realities of the insurance business as well as a new service structure of strategic management of the insurer.
