The question of creating mega-regulator on financial market of Ukraine

Abstract: The problem of the broken meharehulyatora the financial market of Ukraine. The effectiveness of development and regulation of the financial market is a prerequisite for the effective development of the economy in general. Given the fact that financial markets can be a source of financial and economic crises, the need to improve its regulation is a priority for regulators. The article deals with the model of state regulation of financial markets in foreign countries. Posted characterization national organizational structures that ensure regulation and supervision in the EU. Analyzes the scientific approaches to the problems of regulation and creation meharehulyatora the financial market of Ukraine. Assesses advantages and disadvantages of creating meharehulyatora in Ukraine. As a result, it is concluded that the creation meharehulyatora is justified in the case of universalization of the financial sector. It is reported that during the crisis meharehulyatora may reduce the efficiency of supervision for several reasons. It is noted that the creation in Ukraine of the meharehulyatora is premature until the financial market has not received proper development, it is advisable to raise the effectiveness of supervision by staff training and improving oversight mechanisms. However, if the dynamic development of the financial services market in Ukraine, complications and harmonization of financial products, the emergence of powerful financial conglomerates, return to the idea of a single regulator of financial services market is appropriate.
