Digitalization of economy: international expirience and possibilities of development in Ukraine

The article analyzes the prospects for the development of the national economy, considering the potential of digitalization. Theoretical and practical approaches to the social and economic growth under the digital economy conditions are investigated. The importance of digital economy both for the whole society and particular sectors of economy is considered within our research. It is found that as the result of extensive research of separate economic processes and phenomena, the economic and social changes and progress depend on the information and cognitive technology use. The authors emphasize that the complex indicators of national economy development depend on the gross domestic product (GDP), indicators of human development and digital economy development. Special attention is paid to the analytical research and measures of digital economy influences. The author emphasizes the connections between different groups of national economy development indicators and the information and cognitive technology (ICT). The financial and non-financial measurements of the information and cognitive technology influence on indicators of socio-economic development are defined. The main groups of the digital economy stakeholders in Ukraine are identified. That is especially topical for the designing of recommendations how to solve the ICT problems typical for commercial business representatives, banks, non-commercial and charity organizations, as well as educational institutions. It is proved that the digital economy development results are to be studied in the framework of resilience of both the whole national economic system and the separate stakeholders of national economy.
